What You Need To Know First
There are a lot of very good drop shippers on the Internet, but there are also a lot of scammers! Here is how I sifted through the marshes to find the ones I trust:
I started out by checking on the rating and age of the sites themselves. I know that companies come and go all the time, so I only wanted to deal with ones that had been on the block for awhile. I won't lie to you, this is a hard business to be successful in if you don't know what you are doing. The suppliers that are fraudulent can't make it either, so be very leary of dealing with new drop shipping sites.
Next on my list was cost! I couldn't afford to go broke when I was actually Trying to make money, so I looked for "Hidden" fees, bad reviews online, and overall Feel to the site. Was it friendly? Was it easy to find a Customer Service Agent? If this was going to be where I spent a great deal of my time, I wanted to know how to find what I needed when I needed it.
It would take months to tell you all the companies that have dodgey tactics, hidden fees, and down right Rude people who will make you leave threats of Lawyers before they will return an email or voice mail, so I hope that you trust the Feel of my site well enough to know that I am only here to Help and not harm you in anyway. You will find the list of "Do Not Trust" sites on my site very soon. My advice is to stay away from ones that are not here, especially if they show up at the top of the search engines all the time without positive reviews to back them up. These are usually the scammers paying big to reel you into their con.
The next important topic is policies. Does the company offer warranties, returns, etc.? If so, will you incur any additional cost for it? I also demanded of several that they give me their "WORD" in writing, only to be hung up on or never called again. You can get rid of the scammers fast by asking for their signature and policies in writing!
With these thoughts in mind, I have selected the top three that I feel deserve the credit they have earned and the promotion they are due.
I encourage you to check them out for yourselves, as you have to be the one to use them every day. I am only doing this to help you stay away from the Bad Boys of Dirty Business. Once you have decided which one fits you best, learn it well , then you can always add others later. You don't want to bite off more than you can handle too soon.
